Mellow & Strange

A mouse gets accepted into the Royal Rat Guard, much to the bafflement of many. A historical drama set in early 17th-century Europe, when tensions were high and the rat population was through the roof.

Mellow & Strange explores the political atmospheres of the 17th century in form of rodents. It highlights the themes of duty versus personal conflict, found family, and processing through trauma.

NOTE: Since the comic has been on hiatus for a while now, I’ve decided to close down the webpage. Mellow & Strange will be imported into a free PDF in 2025.
